چکیده
Maize (Zea mays L.) is a plant that grown for human and animal consumption, as well biofuel range of industrial applications throughout the world. By 2020, it predicted to outnumber wheat rice in terms demand. Farmers pick among two types maize varieties modern agriculture. Hybrids open-pollinated are mostly influenced by current environmental economic conditions availability seed preferred variety type. As result, minimizing time required inbred development critical supplying fulfill needs farmers. The use doubled haploid technology most effective way accomplish this. vivo technique widely regarded valuable tool improving breeding efficiency. In maize, induction has been quite successful several commercial programs currently extensively. Many factors such anther stage, donor plant, preparation were discovered influence vitro (Androgenesis) maize. Color indicators used distinguish typical fertilization kernels from those produced via induction. Because gamete production hindered plants, they sterile. chromosome duplication permit self-pollination genotype preservation. DH lines colchicine often chemical chromosomal doubling agent. DHs ideal material genetic improvement studies because their utility homozygous line creation, recurrent selection, mutation, enrichment, compatibility with other technologies.

Doubled haploid (DH) technology, which is used for rapidly purifying genetic resources, is a key technology in modern maize breeding. The present study evaluated the tissue culture characteristics of maize haploid coleoptile sections, in order to provide a new way of haploid doubling. With 20 combinations of haploid coleoptile sections, obtained by hybridization within Reid, Tangsipingtou, and ...

Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation is an effective method for introducing genes into maize. In this chapter, we describe a detailed protocol for genetic transformation of the maize genotype Hi II. Our starting plant material is immature embryos cocultivated with an Agrobacterium strain carrying a standard binary vector. In addition to step-by-step laboratory transformation proced...
متن کاملHaploid and Doubled Haploid Techniques in Perennial Ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) to Advance Research and Breeding
The importance of haploid and doubled haploid (DH) techniques for basic and applied research, as well as to improve the speed of genetic gain when applied in breeding programs, cannot be overstated. They have become routine tools in several major crop species, such as maize (Zea mays L.), wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), and barley (Hordeum vulgare L.). DH techniques in perennial ryegrass (Lolium ...
